Shigehiko KURATA
CFO, Head of IR & Administration Group

Mr. Kurata joined Marubeni in 2004, engaging in developing, managing, financing, and divesting infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater systems and industrial plants.
From 2018, he spent five years seconded to a Marubeni-invested water and wastewater concessionaire in Metro Manila. In the Finance Department, he handled financing from international and Japanese institutions, business management, and new project development outside Metro Manila, gaining shareholder-level and on-site operational experience. Since joining MMCP in April 2025, he has been in charge of fund operation and LP investor relations.
Mr. Kurata, as CFO and Head of IR & Administration Group of the General Partner, is responsible for managing the funds’ assets and reporting to investors. US Certified Public Accountant (Washington)
